YORK The Turkish textile and ready-made clothing industry continues its promotional activities in the USA, the rising market of recent years, at full speed. Turkish companies that participated in the Premiere Vision New York and Functional Fabric Fairs held simultaneously in New York showed their design, fashion and trend power once again. The trend area and info stand of Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTİB), which organizes national participation in both fairs, became the focus of attention of the visitors.

Premiere Vision New York Fair, a prestigious platform where the latest trends and innovative products in the fashion and textile industry are exhibited, was held in New York on July 18-19.

Participants had the opportunity to direct their projects and strengthen their cooperation with the experiences they gained during the event. Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Association (UTİB), Aegean Apparel Exporters’ Association (EHKİB) and and 50 Turkish companies participated. UTİB Chairman of the Board Pınar Taşdelen Engin and UTİB Vice Chairman of

the Board of Directors Ufuk Ocak participated in the organization, where companies shared their creative designs and products with the whole world. The seminars held throughout the event brought together the leading names of the industry and contributed to the sharing of knowledge and experience.

National participants, the pride of Turkey, were among the most remarkable and successful stands of the event. 34 companies in the national participation organization of UTİB became the center of attention with their quality products and impressive designs.

Individual participants also added value to the event by promoting their unique products. The fair, which provides the participants with the opportunity to establish new business opportunities and commercial relations, brought together many international buyers and professionals in New York, the center of the global fashion industry.

At the UTİB stand,The Turkish Taste section, which was created in cooperation with the Istanbul Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters’ Association and under the coordination of President Melisa Tokgöz Mutlu, attracted great attention of the visitors.

New York Consul General Reyhan Özgür, Commercial Attachés Filiz Köseyener, Bilgehan Ramazan Caner and Osman Nuri Gökbulut visited the UTİB stand at the Premiere Vision New York Fair and and wished the participants success.

Stating that both fairs inspired the sector and opened the door to innovative collaborations.

Functional Fabric Fairs, which are held simultaneously, mark the beginning of a new era in the sector and it

is observed that Turkish national participants have achieved great success.

The fair where active wear, performance wear, ready-to-wear, seamless wear, polyester, viscose, antibacterial, UV cut, heat regulating, water and oil repellent, geotextile, medical, hygienic sports and military wear products were exhibited between 18-19 July 2023.
