Bursa, the locomotive of Turkey’s economy, continues its transformation moves in the form of university-industry cooperation. The Fashion Design Program, which was implemented with the collaboration of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) and Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ), is taking an international dimension.

Students benefiting from the program will have the opportunity to a dual degree within the scope of the protocol signed by Bursa Uludağ University in collaboration with Brighton College in England. Bursa, the capital of the textile industry, aims to further its competitiveness in the international scene with moves in the field of fashion and design. The Fashion Design Department, which was opened within the body of Bursa Uludağ University in order to produce solutions for the need of qualified personnel in home textile and ready-made clothing sectors, started accepting its first students with the beginning of the 2019-2020 period.

The Fashion Design Department, which is strategically important in the value-added production targets of the sectors, also took part in BEBKA’s financial support program.
